  Great overall stay, and would stay again

  Liked: Staff overall was quite good. Karen in the breakfast area was outstanding. Very friendly, helpful and great service.

  Disliked: Location was good, not great. A bit noisy given location.

  Liked: The property is in a great location, right in the city center and within walking distance of all the main sights. The staff are very attentive and helpful. There is always someone at the reception desk, which made me feel completely safe throughout my stay. Everything was wonderful during my stay, and if I visit again, I would definitely love to stay here!

  I expected the room to be at least clean

  Liked: The only advantage was the location.

  Disliked: For those of you considering staying at this hotel, I must warn you that I have never seen a room this dirty in any hotel in my entire life. On top of that, the price was far too high for what was offered. I honestly felt like I was staying in a motel. The carpet in the room looked as if it had not been cleaned for years and was covered in stains. The hotel does not provide disposable slippers for guests to wear in the room, and the glass surfaces on the table and desk were dirty. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Luckily, I had some rubbing alcohol with me, so I started cleaning the most essential areas myself. The ceiling was covered in mould, the toilet seat and the inside of the toilet were dirty and had hair on them, and the shower bathtub was filthy, with mould around the edges and yellow dirt stains on the walls. There was no toilet brush and no fridge in the room. In short, for almost £600 for three nights, I expected the room to be at least clean, even if the hotel is old. I have stayed in many different places, but I have never encountered dirtiness like this anywhere else!
