Quiet, Lovely Cottage close to the Airport

Liked: 1. The host Morven was excellent. Very hospitable & helpful. We arrived quite late, close to midnight and she was very kind to wait & help us with the cottage. She also allowed us late check out which was very helpful for the five of us to ease our travel to the Airport. 2. The cottage is located at the very quiet place, surrounded by farms & sheeps, which provides us with lovely views. Sometimes there are airplanes flying through but not a problem for us. Also close to the Airport, perhaps around 10 mins drive.

  Disliked: Nothing concerning.

We had a lovely stay in the Scottish countryside just west of Edinburgh

Liked: The Lowood Cottage is a lovely spot just a bus ride outside of Edinburgh, with excellent amenities, a gorgeous view, and attentive hosts. It was cozy, but in the sense that it was very comfortable, not small! It ended up being quite large, and our group of four was able to get settled in with plenty of room to spare.

Disliked: As a note to guests, make sure you allocate beds appropriately amongst yourselves! The two twin beds are understandably not quite big enough for a taller adult, and probably best left for shorter traveling companions or children. The other beds, however, are bigger than advertised.
