    Perfect stay

Liked: This guest house is exceptional in every way. As soon as you enter, with all the details, you already realize that it is a labor of love. The location is perfect, having several bus lines less than a 3-minute walk away. Very complete breakfast and exceptional cleanliness. Without a doubt, the best thing is the kindness and hospitality of its owners, Tom and Rowena. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

Liked: Best place to stay. Tom and Rowena are the most gracious of hosts. From homemade sourdough toast at breakfast (plus many other delightful fresh made to order items), to the most cozy of beds ever (king size) and a view of the garden. Our room was so comfortable and overlooked the front garden. We parked right on the street out in front and took the bus #11 across the street into Edinburgh. Easy travels and able to walk from hotel to many great restaurants without being in Edinburgh hustle and bustle. Tom even sourced distilled water for my husbands CPAP machine. Not so easy to find in Scotland! Thank you Tom and Rowena for a great start to our adventure through Scotland and such a warm, friendly stay.

Best place to stay in Edinburgh

Liked: This is a GREAT place to stay in while visiting Edinburgh. Great way to feel like you are not in the middle of tourist area but easily able to get to all the popular tourist spots and transportation hubs. The hosts are TOP NOTCH and the breakfast alone is custom made per order.

    Exceptional

Liked: Staying at the Sheridan guest house was a purely delightful experience for us. Tom and Rowena are so hospitable and helpful. We were able to check in early and even though we were in their smallest room (and it was tiny!), it was incredibly well-appointed and comfortable. We loved the window seat that overlooked the neighborhood, and we felt like we had everything we needed. Being outside the center of the city was a bonus for us... we mainly walked into Old Town since we love walking, but we also used the bus once. Don't let the location deter you from booking here. And the most surprising part of our stay was the excellent breakfast -- homemade sourdough toast, a great selection at the breakfast bar, and a choice of a main dish. And everything served in a gorgeous dining area with tons of thriving plants. Thank you for the time and effort you have put into this remarkable B & B. We highly recommend the experience.
