Great stay for students with proper amenities and affordable price (considering crazy local price)

Liked: Private bathroom and kitchen are great to have. The price is good compared to other options. The heater is a live saver after rainy days. McDonald's next to the entrance. 🎉 It was a good experience overall.

Disliked: Just a few nits: - water was not going away in the shower properly, but not flooding the bath so it's okay. No hot water, but comfortable warm which is sufficient. - the bathroom tap is too small, my hands could not properly fit under it therefore uncomfortable to wash them. - the mattress is comfortable but is covered with thick plastic film which makes the flat bedsheet unmake easily.

Liked: The room is spacy, clean and the bed is comfortable for two. The WiFi was fast. There are big supermarkets nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: There was only one pot and no pan or cutting board. It was really hot (around 25°C) in the room and in the whole building even though the heating was off and outside was around 15°C. It is a bit further from the city center.

Good location, but disappointing cleanliness and comfort

Liked: Good location; easy check-in/check-out; feels safe; small, but nice bathroom

Disliked: Not very clean - dusty, stained bedding, hair on the bed. The bed itself is not very comfortable and definitely not big enough for two adults, the bottom sheet is also not fitted which is frustrating as it moves around and you end up on the plastic mattress. Door lock is dodgy. You get flooded with messages repeating the same rules. No staff on premises.

It's accommodation restricted to students but with no support if you book through booking.com

Disliked: We paid a lot of money for what we thought was a short stay in accommodation with support for our student daughter for her very first period away from home. There was no support provided to her. Her room was not set up with the bedding, equipment etc we were promised and it was dirty. She could not get her hob to work and could not cook a meal for 3 days until she finally managed to speak to a member of staff who explained how it worked. I sent several emails and made several phone calls to get this resolved and it was not sorted out by the agent, my daughter had to go and sort it out herself. She was 250 miles from home without a support network and I thought I paid for that as part of the accommodation costs but when the accommodation is booked through booking.com, you do not receive any support from on site staff as the booking is with a 3rd party provider who seems to have little or no jurisdiction with the on site staff. Thankfully my daughter has moved to new accommodation for the rest of her academic year. The staff members are pleasant and do what they can within the constraints of the management set up. It is clearly an opportunity for third parties to make a lot of easy money from empty student accommodation during off peak periods. Students and their families are sold a set up that does not match the description provided. It was very disappointing, worrying and upsetting for a young person having their first experience living away from home.
