  Enjoyable

Liked: Easy to get into Edinburgh Central

Disliked: Our room was at the top of the house up some very steep stairs. This was OK for us but would be difficult for older people of those with mobility issues. There are more accessible rooms available so check availability when booking.

Liked: Lovely accommodation run by a family who were very welcoming and provided helpful recommendations for sightseeing. Room was comfortable and excellent location with a bus stop into the central city directly across the road which made it extremely easy to get to/from central Edinburgh. Would definitely stay again!

  Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: I loved that there was a bus stop right in front of the house, it made it easy for travel. The staff were really friendly and accommodated us a little earlier! There was a bad storm coming through, so this really helped!

Disliked: Everything was clean, but there stains on the pillows and the carpet. The bed was really hard and the pillows hard and heavy. If that’s what you prefer then it’s great, but I like soft beds ☹️

  Beautiful room along bus route

Liked: It is absolutely beautiful! The bus stop is literally right out front, which was amazingly convenient. The owner was so kind and helpful, too. Very lovely place to stay.

  Disliked: Nothing, everything was great!

Great place to stay in Edinburgh

Liked: Very charming house. Very clean and comfortable bed. Friendly host. The bus stop is in front of the house, very convenient to go to the center of the city and historical sites. There is a shopping center nearby with many stores and coffee shops.

Disliked: Small room for two people. Not enough space to put the luggages or clothes. Suggestion to replace carpet for laminated floors.
