  Liked: Breakfast was superb, the balcony was a real bonus. Fresh milk and lovely local 'Napiers' toiletries. Staff just so welcoming and chatty.

  Disliked: There was nowhere to get a drink at 9.30 pm on the Wednesday night.

  Best friends wedding accomodation

  Liked: Lovely staff and the grandure of the hotel was amazing.

  Disliked: The layout of the room was not practical. Stunning looking loft suite with bath up stairs, but water wasn't hot enough for me to have a bath, luke warm doesnt do it for me and toilet downstairs not ideal. no mirror with table anywhere to do you hair and makeup. The best mirror was in bathroom and had no plug for straighteners so getting ready felt very disjointed.

  Perfect

  Liked: Perfect location central to everything the rooms were very luxurious and the views of the city were amazing. The staff were absolutely wonderful really welcoming,great breakfast too. The family had a great meal in the Hawksmoor restaurant. Highly recommend and will definitely book the Edinburgh Grand Hotel again.

  Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like it was the perfect long weekend birthday stay couldn't fault anything.
