  Perfect for our needs - bringing my son to tour Edinburgh University and get a sense of Edinburgh vibe

  Liked: Location is unbeatable - 5min easy walk to Waverley station and 8min walk to Edinburgh University Main Campus. And right in heart of Old Town (on Royal Mile). Staff were incredibly helpful - especially the young lady (think she was from Bulgaria) that checked us in and helped us with any requests. Room was small (usual for old town Edinburgh) but really nice decor and comfortable beds. Bathroom also nice and modern.

  Disliked: Unpleasant smell in bar/dining area (fishy), the excellent location unfortunately means a lot of noise at night from drunk people in surrounding streets (which can be reduced by closing all windows but I like sleeping with fresh air).

  Absolutely fabulous! 10/10

  Liked: Exceptionally warm welcome. Rooms beautifully apportioned and presented. Cleanliness was excellent. The staff were wonderful and all in all I would recommend to anyone considering a visit to Edinburgh. Stay here you won’t regret it!

  Wonderful location in a cute boutique hotel

  Liked: This was a great property with a great location! The attached pub had great food and entertainment.

  Disliked: Some of the upkeep of the property was lacking. The drapes in my room were coming off at the top. There was no blow dryer. They did bring one up when I called down. The shower would back up if the water ran more than a couple of minutes. They truly need to do better with the upkeep on the rooms.
