I would definitely stay here again though ideally not at the weekend due to the music downstairs
Liked: Wonderfully clean and the communal kitchen / dining space is a brilliant concept with a chose of breakfast items should you wish, and the nice touch of free tea and coffee. There was ample parking close by, and only a short walk to the amenities.
Disliked: Despite having a “quiet” room at the back away from the bar and using ear plugs, the music, in particular the beat, woke me up a few times and disturbed my sleep.

Liked: Clean, good quality pillows & bedding. Great communal kitchen with a good choice of breakfast items available for purchase. Complimentary hot drinks. Very reasonably priced.

Some bedrooms are located in the adjoining building next to the main guest house. This will be clearly stated in the individual room description.
We do not have private parking; however, council-operated car parks are located on either side of the property. Parking charges apply between 9am and 6pm, with parking free overnight.
Please be aware that Corran House is a Victorian building with no lift. All upper floors are accessible by stairs only, and we are unable to offer a porterage service.
Tea and coffee-making facilities are available in the communal guest kitchens. All food and drink must be stored and consumed within the designated kitchen and dining areas rather than in the bedrooms.
Some of our bunk rooms are located directly above Markie Dans pub and may experience noise, particularly when live entertainment is taking place. This will be clearly stated in the room description before booking.
Different policies and additional charges may apply to bookings of more than 8 rooms. Please contact us directly before making a group reservation.
