Exceptional
Liked: Loved how helpful the host James was, went out of his way to give us ideas for things to do and to give us insider knowledge. Excellent central location with free parking too. You get the whole apartment to yourself which was nice
Disliked: At night because it is so central it can be very noisy making sleeping hard, first night was a constant stream of drunks screaming while the second night was a car alarm after 2am for about 30 minutes. Ear plugs might be a good idea.
Comfy and spotless with the amenities you could want and need plus more in the best location
Liked: Comfy, spotless with all the amenities plus some you could want in the best location in Oban. James was excellent in giving us directions and suggestions. Plus he booked a table for us at a restaurant near by knowing we are arriving late and could have issues getting in.
Disliked: I wish James had responded to my emails earlier. Need a clothes line to dry clothes.
Nice central location, owner very helpful. Clean, everything you could need and a nice welcome nip
Liked: Met by the owner on arrival, who helped with our cases and showed us around the appartment, he also suggested local places to eat.
Disliked: Was a little bit unsure re entry and parking on departure from home, it all worked out in the end. Only made aware of arrival instructions once we reached Oban. Would have preffered an email before leaving home.
Liked: Great location for bus, train and ferry and all that Oban offers. Owner very helpful with great recommendations
Disliked: Could be noisy but we were there during the week and it was fine. No complaints.
Great place to stay..communication with owner brilliant..he even booked an evening meal for us when we arrived …will d
Liked: Great location within 2 mins if everything..lovely flat cosy
Disliked: Nothing
Lil’ Bay View delivered in a BIG way 😍
Liked: Location, location, location!! And James was the bomb! Lil’ Bay View had stellar views, steps to bus, train and ferry. Everything is walking distance so perfect for us. The flat had everything we needed and then some. James was funny and engaging. Gave us a “wee dram” of whiskey upon arrival. Would definitely visit again 😊
