  Liked: Zombie hand on coffee pot, sleeping in Odins bed.

  Disliked: Odin was mad that I slept in his bed so he turned off cold water in showers - nearly boiled myself:(

  My home from home!

  Liked: I have been staying at this hostel off and on since 2009. It is always a welcome sight and I enjoy staying here every time. This time around was more of the same. The staff were lovely, the facilities well maintained and I felt welcome and at home and that is all I ask for!

  Disliked: My only gripe (it's a small one) is that the wooden bases on the bunks mean that the foam mattresses cannot spread and are quite solid and uncomfortable to sleep on. But that is more of a preference issue, as I sleep on spring mattresses when at home.

  Stopover at Oban Backpackers

  Liked: Nice location for a hostel being near to the centre of town and close to all the amenities. The staff at the hostel were pleasant and friendly. The lounge was informal and relaxing while the kitchen had everything needed to prepare yourself a decent meal. The room was nice and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Being a hostel, it is ideal budget accommodation and excellent value.

  Disliked: The room was fine but the curtains didn't fit the space they were trying to fill and a lot of light shone in around them.
