  The perfect alpine Mountain resort!

  Liked: We LOVED this historic hotel! We enjoyed the spa, our suite, our view, the staff were all so kind and accommodating. We would go back here in a heartbeat! The breakfast was off the charts!!! We stayed 5 nights and still hated to leave! Everyone made this Alabama couple feel special. The room was clean and spacious.

  Liked: An unforgettable birthday stay — exceptional in every way! Our three-night stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Everything, from the service to the atmosphere, exceeded our expectations. I came to Bad Gastein to celebrate my birthday, and the entire team made sure it was a truly special and memorable occasion. I couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate! First of all, I want to thank the entire team for their outstanding hospitality. A very special thank you goes to Esther (I hope I got her name right!), who works at reception. She welcomed us when we arrived and was there to say goodbye when we left. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine attention to guests made such a difference. I would also love to personally thank Drazen and Ande (Anton, if I remember correctly) for their exceptional service during breakfast and dinner. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and hospitality were simply outstanding. This is what true five-star service should feel like! The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely rooms, a fantastic location, and an atmosphere that makes you feel completely relaxed. And the food deserves a special mention! The cuisine is absolutely incredible, especially dinner. Without exaggeration, the quality of the food, presentation, and overall dining experience are on the level of a Michelin-starred restaurant. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit many wonderful restaurants and hotels around the world, but this experience genuinely impressed me. The spa is another highlight. It’s absolutely stunning, peaceful, and never felt overcrowded. While many guests seemed to prefer the saunas, I spent most of my time enjoying the wonderful heated pool. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and designed for complete relaxation. The wine selection is excellent, and the bar is equally impressive. Every little detail contributes to making this place feel special.

  Disliked: Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I genuinely cannot think of a single thing that could have been better.

  Mostly nice

  Liked: The service was great mostly (except from dinner), the view is amazing, the rooms are very bit and beautiful. Good value for such price!

  Disliked: The waiting time at dinner and breakfast was too much. Waiting 25 minutes for bread before the first course has arrived.. I’ts not something that should happen in a five star hotel. Also, the variety at breakfast was boring. Its was always exactly the same. For someone who intends to stay here for more than three nights- be ready to become quite bored.

  A wonderful stay. Modern design hotel that also celebrates and honour its history. Incredible pool

  Liked: Beautifully renovated hotel. Outstanding location. Incredible breakfast. Spacious room and outstanding bathroom. Everything was wonderful. Amazing pool and spa.

  Disliked: We had to wait about 30 mins to be collected from train station.
