Superb
Comfortable, clean and convenient
Liked: Really helpful host who was very responsive to messages and went above and beyond by bringing us an iron and ironing board when we requested one. Apartment was spotless and everything was very new. Good location, an easy walk into the centre of town, train station etc.
Disliked: The apartment is clearly a new listing so there were a couple of extra facilities/finishing touches that would have been helpful, such as an iron, soap in each bathroom and guide to what goes in which bin. The shower is also very open plan with the bedroom - me and my friend made it work, but probably more designed for couples as it wasn't very private!
Poor fittings in nicely sized flat ruin the experience
Liked: Not much, the flat size has potential Shower OK, bath ok if you do not fill too quickly, combi boiler?
Disliked: No marking to find the flat, once arrived at building. No wardrobe or place to hang clothes, picture misleading, we used some hangers on coat stand. No wine glasses in famous wine region! Dangerous pans selected for hob, no insulated handle, they are like stew ironware. Draining pans is dangerous. Labels still on cups and toilet. Main room with strong paint smell on entering. Equipment like sink is as cheap as possible. Window blind operators won't last long, cheapest spec.
