  it was a lovely and memorable stay, and we would recommend this place to anyone visiting Krems

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this property in Krems. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Wachau Valley, including Dürnstein, Weißenkirchen, Stein, and the Danube area. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and it had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was especially kind and thoughtful. Every morning she brought us a delicious breakfast upstairs on a tray, which made us feel very cared for and at home. It was a lovely and memorable stay, and we would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Krems and the Wachau region.

  Disliked: The only downside was that the fan was not working during our stay. It was extremely hot outside, over 38°C, and because the area was noisy, we could not comfortably keep the windows open at night.

  A Fantastic Stay in Krems, Highly Recommend Wohnzimmer

  Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wohnzimmer, it was like a home away from home. Heidi is an exceptional host. We arrived early and we were fortunate that we could enter the apartment. Heidi met us at the door and was very welcoming, she showed us through the apartment and explained everything. She answered questions about activities that we were interested in and gave helpful information about the area. The apartment was very spacious throughout. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was wonderful with the big bath, I used this often. The kitchen was great and even had a few condiments which we found helpful. Heidi gave us a delicious hearty breakfast each morning. It was so lovely to sit in the sunny kitchen eating breakfast or even relaxing on the balcony drinking a glass of wine. We highly recommend Heidi and staying at Wohnzimmer. If we return we will definitely stay there again.

  Disliked: Nothing everything was perfect.

  Beautiful spacious apartment and outstanding hospitality!

  Liked: The apartment is spanking clean, spacious and roomy, charming and artfully decorated. Rooms are filled with sunlight, the host is the most amazing, kind and considerate host we’ve ever had. The warm welcome and excellent hospitality will remain fond memories of our stay in Krems. The location is excellent, just off the main street (Ringstrasse), and two blocks from the center on the old town. Short walk from the train station, and adjacent to two lovely city parks.

  Wachau Valley, Wohnzimmer, and Heidi well worth a visit!

  Liked: Before I say anything about the property, I must say that the host (Heidi) was exceptional! I think a great stay begins with a great host and it always feels good when it's obvious that the host enjoys fellow travelers (Heidi loves to travel as well) and wants to ensure a very pleasant stay. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, etc. Heidi had lots of brochures and information in the suite which was very thoughtful. Her personal recommendations, before and during our stay, were excellent. It was very easy to visit the entire Wachau Valley from Krems. We did have a car and parking was 4 euros per day, but free on the weekends. Each morning our day began with a nice basket of food quietly slipped into our front hallway, ready when we were. All in all, a terrific stay!
