  Liked: Great location. Grocery store near by. Little Terrace to sit on.

  Disliked: Had sent messages in advance that were not responded to so improvement there would be appreciated.

  Large rooms and clean spaces but no fans in rooms made it very uncomfortable

  Liked: Large rooms. Clean spaces.

  Disliked: Communication from the property was really bad. Having no fan in any of the rooms during the height of summer was simply not acceptable. All other similar cost apartments we’ve stayed in in Europe have had multiple fans to cool down the rooms to make sleeping in the heat easier. Host said they prefer to ‘deal with issues on the spot rather than read a bad review later’, but when I tried to ask about it, I was ignored. Very disappointed.

  If the owners resolve the above notes, which aren’t substantial, this would be a fantastic place to stay

  Liked: Very conveniently located close to transit, restaurants and plenty of sights.

  Disliked: Overall a comfortable place, but if you don’t have a local SIM to call the owners, don’t expect a reply via email. Insubstantial towels (both very thin and small) aren’t ideal. Worse was that our visit was during a heatwave and there were no fans to help move air, making it a sweltering place to stay. One of the bedroom windows was missing a blind.

  Quite Spartan

  Liked: The position in Linz, close to cafes and shops

  Disliked: The fact that there were no towels, only hand towels. The sofa in one of the bedrooms needs to be in the communal area. There was nowhere to sit other than at the kitchen table. Only one blind in one of the bedrooms, so not very private. No English tea bags, no milk, no hand soap at the sinks. The balcony needs bigger or thicker mats on it, as the chair feet go through them and then through the open work which is the balcony floor. Altogether quite spartan, which after a 14 hour journey, arriving just before midnight, felt unwelcoming.

  Liked: Good location. Nice interior design.

  Disliked: No toiletries. Staff doesn’t regularly check messages via booking.com so our parking space was only confirmed on our arrival day.

  Great comfortable place to stay!

  Liked: It’s a cute clean modern apartment, the instructions for everything were perfect. We are not into watching TV, so not having one in the apartment didn’t bother us at all.

  Disliked: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
