All good... very accessible and convenient
Liked: 3 mins walk from train station, buses and supermarkets Easy to bus to all the Salzburg sights - including Untersberg, Salzburg Old Town, Mozart birthplace and residence, Dom Quartier, boatride, Hohensalzburg Fortress. Welcome fruits at lobby

Very nice modern hotel in good location
Liked: Great location close to buses and trains. Good walking distance to Old Town. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Pillows too soft for us.
Liked: The building is unique and close links to the train station
Disliked: The room was by the lifts and the hot water failed. We had a choice of ice cold showers or no shower. We asked reception for an idea of time so we could decide what to do but they didn't call back. 30 mins later we called again and still no commitment or an alternative plan
Nice but could have been better
Liked: The location was great, handy to everyrthing. Very easy accessto and from the station, and within walking distance to old town and the river.
Disliked: There were two things that would have elevated our opion of the hotel. 1/ after checking in and going to our room i noticed there was no kettle and asked reception if it was possible for us to get one as my wife only drinks tea and as strange as it may seem i prefer to have instant coffee not the pod coffee that is supplied in the room. The girl at reception said she didn't think that was possible but there was a boiling water tap on the first floor which we were welcom to use. I mentioned carrying a cup or two of boiling water from the first floor to our room on the forth floor may not be all that practical and left it at that. 2/ And this was the more important issue the WiFi connection to the room kept dropping out whether i was just sending and recieving emails for work or trying to watch Netflix (no smart TV in the rooms) it would drop out even trying to make call home to australia via Watsapp was a pain. So if drinking tea or instant coffee is important to you and you like having a kettle in the room or if consistant WiFi signal is required, then maybe the Arte Hotel is not for you.
