Exceptional
Incredible accommodations with very friendly, attentive hosts
Liked: I liked so many things about our stay, I do not know where to begin. 1) The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated, and equipped with comfortable beds/pillows, refrigerator, kettle (some rooms have small kitchens), and toiletries. The water and fruit in the room was a welcomed site. 2) Easy access to Salzburg. There is a bus about a 3 to 5 minute walk (top of the hill) that is about a 15 minute ride to the old town center. If you stay at their accommodation, you get a free bus pass during your stay. 3) Breakfast was varied and delicious. There were different types of meats, cheeses, fruits, bakery items, cereals, nuts, and fresh eggs cooked to order. 4) the owners are incredible hosts. Friendly, great sense of humour, very helpful (gave great recommendations, moved our bags for us when w changed rooms because we booked another night and helped us with ordering food delivery service 5) free parking is available and much appreciated Something to note: the property does sit on a steep road and may be difficult for someone with mobility issues walking up the hill to get to the bus

Amazing stay! Would love to stay again
Liked: Wow, where to start? Building has been in the family for over 200 years and it's very well taken care of. Caroline is an absolute star and took care of us like we were family. Breakfast was outstanding. Bed was more comfortable than ours at home.
Disliked: Unusual heatwave (30-37c) made everything uncomfortably warm and no fan available, but the cool evening breeze off the mountain was good. Very steep narrow access road not for people with mobility problems.
