Liked: Easy to find and convenient parking. Helpful staff.
The best value in Salzburg
Liked: The place is simply awesome. Quiet, clean, spacious. The staff is overly friendly, they even give you a small "goodbye/thank you" present, something that's over the top for a 3* hotel. The room (twin beds) was really great, clean and really spacious, with the furniture positioned in a very smart way. A lot of parking outside, so no problem to find a place for your vehicle no matter the size, and if you arrive late (after 10 p.m.) just let them know and they'll hide the key in a way to make you feel like a little spy! One thing to keep in mind: the local tax can be paid only in cash!
Disliked: There's not a real negative, just a fact: if you want to wake up, have a coffee and walk in the city center, forget about it. You have to walk (quite a bit), take the bus (public transport in Salzburg are kinda ok) or the car. On the flip side, the hotel is located in such a quiet place/neighborhood that you'll forget to be in a city. Not suitable for "young & crazy", nightlife lovers, perfect for families, of for anyone looking to completely relax. Bottom line: if you'll like the city, this hotel will make your stay even better. If you won't like Salzburg, this place will definitely save your experience...
Liked: Everything was clean, AC worked fine. A bit outdated but a good breakfast buffet.
Disliked: They had closed their restaurant for a time, so that was a pain!

Friendly helpful staff and comfortable clean room
Liked: We liked the friendly neighbourhood feel of this hotel. Helpful staff made a difference to our experience. Our room was quiet with very comfortable beds, a nice shower and bathroom, and good breakfast. Conveniently placed for the no.4 bus that took us straight to the centre of the old town in 5 or 6 stops. We had a hire car for travelling further afield and it was easy to park directly by the hotel.
