Very good
Liked: One of the best hotels I have visited. A perfect location, good transport links to centre of Salzburg, excellent staff and breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect.
Liked: Location is good, short walk from train station.
Disliked: Room is simple and small, quite dated too, definitely not 4 star as shown in booking.

Liked: 10 minutes walk to train station. Only 2 blocks away from river so recommend heading to river first to walk alone the river to old town. Very friendly staff. Nice to have a table and bench in the room.
Disliked: The hotel uses the old school metal key for the room and recommends leaving the key with front desk when going out. However, the night shift staff didn't verify our ID when we return and ask for the key. It does not sound safe if someone heard our room number.
Completely uncontactable staff and filthy

Disliked: Staff are completely unresponsive by email or by messages through booking.com. I asked for the Salzburg guest mobility ticket to be sent to me on the day of arrival, but there was no response at all. A call to reception led to a staff member saying he didn’t know how to send the tickets, and we would have to wait until 7pm (which would obviously have been too late). To this day there has been no response to my emails. One of the towels provided had red stains on it - obviously filthy. I don’t normally take the time to write a review but the service has been so poor that I feel compelled to advise other travellers to find another hotel that is of similar price but will deliver much better service and quality. I have a feeling most guests who stay here are forced to as part of their tour package.
