  The location and the hotel were pretty fine, but the staff were very rude and totally ruined the experience

  Disliked: There isn’t any free parking near hotel, so we had to leave the car in front of the hotel and leave the driver in it, while checking in. They refused to let us get into hotel’s parking until they collected our passports, wrote down all the information, checked us in, which lasted really long. The receptionist, that worked in the evening (18:00 approximately) of October 31st, was very unpleasant, she seemed to be really annoyed by our presence from the very first moment we stepped into the hotel and it felt like she just wanted to get rid of us asap. After she told us that we can get to the underground parking, she didn’t manage to explain anything properly, just said “park anywhere”, even though there were some parking spots reserved for specific vehicles or companies and after driving around we eventually found 7 parking spots that were reserved for this hotel, fortunately there was 1 free. She also didn’t explain how the parking works, just charged us 20€ for it, and when we came to her with the token, which we got from the machine when entering the parking lot, she was really annoyed by us asking what it is and what to do with it, just said to bring it the next day. In the morning after we slept there, at around 10:00 and 10:30 am, the cleaning lady tried to get into our room twice, the first time she knocked, and didn’t even wait for a second, just opened the door, but when she heard us talking, she just left, the second time she didn’t even knock, just opened the door and closed it again when she realised we were still there. Checkout is at 11:00 am, so I don’t see a reason for her to try to get into the room before we even checked out. The room was pretty much fine, the beds were clean and comfortable, although there was mould in the shower.

  Simple but pleasant stay

  Liked: Decent hotel not to far walk from Salzburg town centre. Spacious room with a balcony looking over the mountains

  Disliked: Very basic no tea or coffee in the room or fridge for water

  Would definitely come back!

  Liked: Location is really handy. Tourists have free public transport so it’s only 12 mins by tram to the old city. There’s also a shopping centre and aldi nearby

  Disliked: The shared kitchen was a little dirty but the electronics worked great
