Exceptional
Great property, great location and fabulous hosts
Liked: Wonderful property and exceptional hosts. So warm and welcoming. Beautiful home in traditional alpine design, spotlesly clean. Bedroom and bathroom were great size, bright and airy with every detail and need considered. We loved it. Location was perfect, beautiful views of surrounding fields and mountains and still only a 15 min bus journey from city centre (less during quiet times of day) or a very pleasant 30 min walk or so. Great choice at breakfast. This property has everything you could need for an enjoyable stay but the best bit was our lovely hosts who patiently provided advice on sightseeing, places to eat, transport etc. Their kindness was the highlight. We would stay here if we were in Salzburg again.
Disliked: Nothing,
Liked: Very clean, very good property for its value!
Liked: Everything about this place was excellent. The owners were just lovely. So welcoming, friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I am a vegetarian and they had plenty for me to choose from. The views of the mountains were spectacular. This place was outstanding!
Great place
Liked: Great place with great hospitality
Liked: A beautiful house in stunning surroundings. Daniela is a very welcoming and helpful host. Breakfast was superb, something to suit all tastes. It is a very convenient place from which to explore Salzburg as no 21 bus stop is right in front of the house. The Guest Mobility Ticket which one gets on check- in means all public transport is free!! We had a wonderful days here.Would strongly recommend!
Liked: Daniela and Simon are the perfect hosts! They and their family are very friendly, helpful, and provided one of best holiday stays that we have experienced. The apartment was very nice, clean, and everything needed was provided. Our other family members really enjoyed the room that they stayed in, especially the view from their balcony. Breakfast is delicious and healthy. We highly recommend Pension Ballwein!
