Excellent stay at Pension Helmhof
Liked: Large spacious rooms, good breakfast

A cute comfortable stay at the countryside!
Liked: The room was excellent! A cute countryside stay! The couple hosting me were very friendly and pleasant. They had allowed an early check in for me without extra cost! He also helped to carry my luggage to the second floor. I had an issue with hot water the first two days, the button was not turning for hot water. However after asking them twice, the issue became clear, there was a safety button on the hot water which had to be pressed to enable it. It would have been better to know that beforehand because two days I had a cold shower which could have been avoided. The distance to the bus station is about 10-15min walk uphill and downhill. Apart from that everything was perfect. Their breakfast is amazing! Breads with juice and homemade jam and yogurt with coffee! The first day I didn’t know that breakfast was included, so I regret missing it. Cleaning was done daily so that’s great. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend it:)

Living like a local in Salzburg
Liked: Easy access to old town made even better with the free bus pass. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The shared refrigerator was a plus. Breakfast was very good and the hosts are very accommodating.

Disliked: No kettle in the room, although there was one in lobby area to use. Not a vast selection for breakfast
