Great staff and location that made for a wonderful stay!
Liked: Great Location, river at front and step directly into the middle of the old town from the back. All major attractions within walking distance. Room was very spacious and comfortable with lots of space to store luggage out of your way. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the setting was very elegant and the staff very attentive. Front desk aways had persons available, and they were always very helpful. We also had a lovely welcome fruits and drinks upon arrival which was lovely.
Disliked: Our shower tub drained very slowly, and the shower head had to be held by hand as would not stay up which was inconvenient. While room was cleaned daily, we did notice under the beds were quite dusty when retrieving an item that fell under there. Overall though the room and bathroom was kept clean.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location
Liked: Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Excellent location- able to step out straight into the characterful old town from one side and the river is on the other side. Loved the fact that we were upgraded to a beautiful suite. Really lovely and spacious. Thank you- this made our stay so special. Amazed at how quiet the room was also. A wonderful hotel in a perfect position for wonderful shops bars and restaurants.
Disliked: The cafe was in a good position but lacked a little atmosphere -probably because we were in a low season.
If I returned to Salzburg I would definitely stay there again
