Liked: Great pool
Liked: We love this hotel so much! It's close to Salzburg but set in the most beautiful rural setting overlooking the city in the distance. The restaurant is INCREDIBLE. We were not even planning to be in Salzburg on this 9 day trip to Germany and the Czech Republic, but we had a free night and realized we were only 2.5 hours from Romantik Hotel Die Gersberg where we stayed last September. We booked a repeat night and the experience was just as incredible as last time! We will be back for Christmas markets in 2027!

A beautiful view with easy access to the city below and the surrounding nature activities
Liked: Authentic and charming property, beautiful landscaping, terraces, and swimming pool. Access to public bus service and local hiking trails. Surrounded by grazing pastures with friendly sheep. Restaurant was excellent. When we arrived at Salzburg Hbf, we used the Salzburg Guest Card to take a public bus that stopped at the hotel driveway, and we used the bus services during our stay to access the top of the mountain and the city all for free.
