24/7 Surveillance
Liked: Close location to bus line 22, with pretty high frequency of the buses.
Disliked: Besides the points, which were already mentioned in other reviews on this object (especially the two of them with the photos from 27.12.2025 and 26.10.2025) - a creaky and stiff fold-out sofa, mold on the shower sealant, noisy Apple AirPort Time Capsule of the host (installed on the table in the guest room) and leather chairs with peeling upholstery, as well as the opinion of the host, that the fridge, which is mentioned in the property description (screenshot from 23.08.2026 in German below) is the one on the picture 4 of the description, not the one in the kitchen (it could at least be placed in the kitchen, to reduce the noise) - there is one further point, which makes the experience even worse: Reolink E1 Pro video surveillance camera pointing into the shared corridor, with view on the doors of guest room and toilet (as cherry on the top, it also tracks the movement and rotates towards the person if you decide to go to the kitchen). This wonderful surveillance camera supports a 24/7 video recording, including the one in the low light level condition as well as audio recording (as advertised by the manufacturer). Although the host assured, that no recordings were saved, there are no possibility to verify this statement. Due to concern about the privacy, I recommend avoiding this place. My personal recommendation for the host would be, to read the description of her own apartment, to avoid misunderstandings between her and the guests, to read the "Requirements and regulations around surveillance devices" on the Booking Partner Hub as well as relevant information about video surveillance posted on the page of "Österreichischen Datenschutzbehörde".
Not worth the money for the place, and the rules are not clear at the time of booking
Liked: It’s located in a nice area, near the bus station.
Disliked: Since this is a shared space in an apartment unit, the rules weren’t clearly mentioned in the booking.com Only after the free cancellation period was over, the rules were sent over in the message. The bed was not actually a doubt bed but it’s a sofa bed. The difference is the comfort level. The rules were very strict and we were not comfortable with the stay at all. The rule was not to use the toilet flush in the night as the sound might disturb the host. We had to leave a bit early in the morning, around 6, but the host was not supportive to have shower in the morning. I had a dry throat and was coughing a few times, and the host immediately texted and asked if I was ill as it’s contagious. The work chairs were so old and not comfortable to sit. The modem was noisy in the night. I’m ok with all the rules the host want to put unless it’s mentioned at the time of booking and not towards the start of the trip. Paying 20-30 more would give us more peace in a private space which wasn’t there here.
Liked: It was a nice place right next one of the sound of music houses with a bus nearby thaf went straight into the city, the room was nice with access to a kitchen
Disliked: You are staying in the owners home which is just something to be aware of but she is a lovely lady
I do not think this business is a good fit for the host
Liked: Clean and warm private room, easy access
Disliked: Mold in the shower, host asking us not to flush the toilet in the evening / at night.

Liked: Considering you will stay with the landlord is ok if you like extra quiet. Good communication with the landlord. The room is ok however the bed is not so comfortable ( sofa ). Around 10 minutes with bus 22 until place of interes. Price for the room was a factor way I chose this property.
Disliked: The bed.
Liked: The host is so nice. She is friendly, kind and welcoming.
