  Beyond our expectations - we loved everything!

  Liked: Absolutely amazing hotel – we left feeling genuinely impressed and delighted with our entire stay. ❤️ The room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking the surrounding nature. We were also pleasantly surprised by the wonderful welcome gift prepared for our dog. It was such a lovely touch and made us feel truly welcome. The wellness area was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our stay. It was beautifully designed and the perfect place to relax after a day out. The dinners were simply amazing. Everything was beautifully presented and, most importantly, absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. And the breakfast was simply incredible! There was such a huge variety of food and so many different options that there was something for everyone. We were genuinely impressed by the selection. We honestly cannot think of a single negative thing to mention about the hotel. Everything was perfect – from the beautiful room and fantastic wellness area to the delicious food and wonderful staff. We left the hotel and our holiday here absolutely thrilled and would happily come back again. ❤️

  Comfortable stay in Schladming

  Liked: This hotel is well-located, close to major routes and some options for cable cars. The car park isn’t huge but we didn’t struggle for a space at any point in the quieter season. We had a clean and comfortable room, with a small but enjoyable balcony. The beds were comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The air con was temperamental, and wouldn’t always stay on overnight, but we managed well enough. The pool and spa areas are beautiful. The main outdoor pool is pretty small for a hotel of that size, but it was clean. We loved the options for saunas and the steam room, and we made use of the aufguss and healing sessions in the steam. The outdoor nude area is lovely and quiet too, but had limited space. The breakfast had plenty of options and some variety. You can get hot and cold options, including a choice of omelette. Dinner was four courses each night and the food was consistently high quality. The wait staff were friendly and efficient and we were never waiting for long. My only issue was being told that I couldn’t wear flip flops in the restaurant, while they allowed all kinds of other open footwear. We saw women with sandals and both genders in Birkenstocks. When I queried this I was told that Birkenstocks are fine but by fabric flip flops (not for the pool) weren’t. I wasn’t given any explanation for this. Having said that, they made a lovely effort for us for our anniversary, with a decorated table and two glasses of fizz, which was a lovely touch. The bar was comfortable too, with friendly and efficient service. We would return to this hotel.

  Almost perfect, just don’t run out of ginger at breakfast! 😄

  Liked: Everything was great! The staff were exceptionally friendly, the hotel was spotless, the design was amazing, the wellness area was huge, the gym was well-equipped, and the food was excellent.

  Disliked: There was no ginger available for two consecutive days at breakfast, i.e., in the section where guests can make their own fresh juice. 😄

  We love coming back

  Liked: We have stayed at this hotel several times and always loved the excellent breakfast and dinner with many options, including gluten-free and vegan choices. We were there during the holidays and the hotel was full, but everything was still very clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly, always making you feel truly welcome. One of the reasons we like to come back is lunch at the bar, we love the Wiener schnitzel and veggie bowl, but unfortunately these were not available this time. Instead, the only option was frankfurter sausages with fries, with no vegetarian or sweet options, which was not on the level of a 4-star superior hotel, especially considering the price of almost €700 per night. After a day of skiing it would be great to have a proper lunch at the hotel. We hope the schnitzel and veggie bowl will return to the menu, as we would love to come back.
