Liked: Oh it was a lovely B and B in a house, hundreds of years old and still the family home. It’s a little way out of town and up a pretty steep hill but if you want to walk into town, there is a short cut through a beautiful wooded area. Helmut is a delightful host, helped with directions, our luggage, showed us the short cut into town and restaurant recommendations and chatted about the area and its history. Breakfast was fabulous.
Disliked: A little way out of town but we knew that and it’s a very pleasant easy walk into town and back, s gentle climb.
House looks like something out of a fairy tale! Highly recommended!
Liked: Recently renovated or at least it looks like that, the was very modern and nice! Also they provide free parking not far from the house.
Disliked: There was no such thing.

Disliked: Aww need to walk a little bit from bus station, but can request a lift from the host
It was great. We had all the privacy we wanted and could be in the town center in a quick walk
Liked: Helmut was great. He told us the house is hundreds of years old and his family had had the house for about 100 years now. Very approachable and helpful. Room was comfortable with a small deck to ourselves. He cooked breakfast and had fresh fruit. It was great.
Disliked: Location was secluded but very easy to get to downtown
We had the best time, ever
Liked: Breakfast was excellent! Our needs and requests were met. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They were extremely helpful and friendly! We particularly loves the running stream right next to the property and the cog railway line so close, was a train nut like my husband's dream accommodation! If we're ever have the opportunity to visit St Wolfgang again, we will stay at Hupfmühle again. Hupfmühle comes highly recommended from us. Mike & Munebah Derry from South Africa 🇿🇦
