  The view from this apartment was not very good, but the apartment itself was clean and overall we had a fairly pleasant

  Liked: The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was excellent, right in the heart of St. Wolfgang and close to the lake, restaurants and public transport. Check-in was easy and we had a very pleasant stay.

  Disliked: The apartment did not have enough basic cutlery, such as spoons, forks and knives, which was inconvenient during our stay. The only inconvenience was that luggage storage was not available before check-in.

  Worst service. Very good location

  Liked: Location and reasonably well furnished

  Disliked: The apartment was reasonably new and, above all, very well located. Unfortunately, those were pretty much the only positive aspects of our stay. We booked the apartment for 5 people, but when we arrived there were only two beds available. When we raised the issue, we were told that they did not understand how the booking system had allowed us to make a reservation for five guests, since the apartment was apparently only suitable for four people. Despite this, no proper solution was offered. We were simply told that three people would have to share one bed, rather than being offered something as simple as a folding bed or another reasonable alternative. The customer service from the apartment was by far the worst part of the experience. Instead of taking responsibility for a clear problem with a confirmed reservation for five guests and trying to solve it, the response we received was unhelpful and dismissive. We felt that our complaint was not taken seriously at all. In addition, the Wi-Fi worked poorly and the shower did not drain properly, which made the stay even less comfortable. On the positive side, I should mention that Booking.com’s customer service team handled the situation very well. They were helpful, responsive and clearly made an effort to assist us. This was in sharp contrast to the service we received directly from the apartment. Overall, despite the good location and the apartment being relatively new, the poor service from the property and the unacceptable sleeping arrangements made this a very disappointing experience.

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfectly clean, cozy, and comfortable. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of St. Wolfgang, super convenient for exploring the town and lake. Our hosts were kind, welcoming, and very helpful. We would definitely love to come back!
