  Welcoming for families with pets

  Liked: Perfect place to experience autumn colors of Vienna's green belt. My dog loved the hotel's gardens and parks.

  Liked: The view. The building forever.

  Disliked: I usually rate this property as good or very good. However, on this occasion, the receptionist who greeted me upon arrival was extremely impolite. After spending nearly five minutes checking my reservation,he casually informed me that the room type I had booked was no longer available and that the only option he could offer was a downgrade to a Classic Room. This was particularly disappointing given that my reservation had been made and confirmed two weeks in advance. Until my arrival, I had not received any communication from the hotel, informing me of this situation. Moreover, such an issue should not have arisen in the first place, considering that the reservation had already been confirmed. When I requested that the matter be escalated, a room of the category I had originally booked, suddenly became available. This left me with the impression that the issue could have been resolved from the outset had it been handled more professionally. Please take into consideration that I have been a regular guest of this hotel for more than 20 years. Thorough this time I have generally had positive experiences and have remained a loyal customer. This is precisely why I was particularly disappointed by the way was handled, as it falls well below the standard of service I have come to expect from the hotel.

  A historical castle

  Liked: It is a great location with a wonderful view towards Vienna.

  Disliked: No restaurant or hotel bar available. This is a downfall. Shower in bathroom has fungus on the tiles.

  Wonderful place /palace

  Liked: Everything was wonderful! The view was breathtaking, the breakfast was varied and delicious, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very polite and welcoming. We were absolutely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. Highly recommended!

  Nice time in Wien

  Liked: A lovely spot outside the city center, with a bus stop for the metro right in front of the hotel. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Pleasant accommodation in a small chateau with a beautiful view. Dog-friendly. Thank you. Recommended.
