Great location. Big room and was everything we wanted

Liked: Nice big room and bathroom. Great location. Josefstadt was a lovely neighbourhood and a short walk or a couple of stops on the tram from the centre.

a very spacious apartment with plenty of potential but lacks comfort and coziness

Liked: We have very mixed feelings about our stay here. We arrived around 7–8 PM, received instructions for self-check-in. I had an additional question for the property managers afterward, but I never received a reply. The check-in instructions stated that our apartment was located on the “Mezzanine floor (1st floor).” However, there are two different buttons in the elevator, so we spent some time wandering around before finally finding our apartment. As it turned out, the first floor actually houses the reception and some guest rooms, while the apartments are one level below, on the mezzanine floor. The apartment itself is absolutely enormous! However, the kitchen is surprisingly tiny, and the bathroom is accessed directly from the kitchen. The toilet is separate, is accessed from the hall. The apartment actually has a lot of character and potential, but it needs some additional investment and thoughtful interior design to make it truly comfortable. Furniture and a bit more attention to the atmosphere could make a huge difference. As it is now, though, it doesn't feel particularly cozy. It's the kind of place where you find yourself looking forward to the morning so you can pack up and move on. If you've ever stayed in one of those old apartments in the historic center of Odesa, Ukraine, you'll know exactly what I mean. It has very much that same vibe!:) There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the building, and unfortunately, cooking smells were quite noticeable in the toilet and, to a lesser extent, in the apartment itself. We only stayed for one night, so I can't really judge how convenient the location is for exploring the city center or visiting the main attractions. However, we had no trouble finding a nice place for dinner and somewhere to enjoy a coffee the following morning. There are several paid parking facilities nearby. The property offers a discount at one of them.

    Great place to stay

Liked: Great location - within a walking distance to the Rathaus. There were cafes and restaurants in the area, a Billa supermarket. I stayed with my dog and the staff were very accommodating (but she’s also a very calm dog). Tram 2 stop nearby to get to the Inner Stadt and bus 13A to Hauptbahnhof. Highly recommended!

Liked: It was clean. Bus 13 was around the corner and I was able to grab the bus outside the train station. Nice location.

Disliked: It was confusing about the check in process. Not enough signs or clear signs on how to get to the room. The hallways and stairs are dark and it’s difficult to see where the elevator button is. It was a good thing I arrived before 2:00 pm so there was still people there to come down to the entrance door and guide us.

Liked: Amazing location and the tram stop is super close. The room is beautiful, a good mix of old and modern, and the bed is very comfortable. It's quiet and definitely worth it.

Disliked: The fan in the toilet was very loud and i would appreciate better lighting around the mirror in the bathroom. Even during the day you need to turn on the lights in the bathroom in order to see properly, but because of the bathrooms location they might see you in there from the opposite building. The room has only black-out curtains which are great, however some regular curtains would be nice for the daytime.
