Walking distance to all the inner city sites, super clean, great bedding, free bag storage

Liked: CH Hostel is in a perfect location right in the heart of inner Vienna, 7 minute walk from Café Central (gorgeous, historic café), shopping area, and a bus stop right in front of the hostel. It is super clean, great comforters and pillows, and fabulous heating- we were there in 0 degree weather so it was wonderful to have a warm hotel, room and bathroom. We were in a 6 bed room and it was spacious with its own bathroom and walk-in shower. My mom is 87 and mobility reduced so having a room on the ground floor with a walk-in shower was ideal. They have coffee/tea/drinks machines in the lobby which is convenient and offer breakfast in their lobby café which is spacious. They also have free luggage storage which was great as we checked out in the morning but our our flight was late afternoon so we could continue to explore before our departure.

  Good location, unpleasant hotel experience

Liked: Walking distance to tourist attractions. Supermarket is just closeby. The receptionist is accomodating. We arrived early( check in time is very late),and she let us leave our luggages. The check out is very early, and the reception allowed us to leave our bags again.

Disliked: Nobody cleaned the toilet for the 2 days we were there. No towels provided, even for rent. No spoon, knife and cooker in the kitchen. No tissue and shower and hand soap in the female toilet. No heater in the kitchen and the windows cannot be closed. Nobody cleaned our shared room for the 2 days we stayed (somebody spilled her juice on the floor, it was still there when we got back at night after strolling the whole day).... the worst is our last night NO heater in our room, kitchen and toilet, we almost froze.
