  Christmas holidays in Vienna

  Liked: Location is very close to underground station about 5 min walk, To the nearest shop is 2 minutes just across the road, Gym is 2 minutes away, Clean and quiet area. The mattress was very good quality, One hour driving from the nearest sky resort

  Disliked: The owner of the apartment was very responsive, At any questions I have the reply about in 5 minutes. Perfect location and apartment for holiday in Vienna

  Great apartment

  Liked: Great apartment and location, very easy access to public transportation.

  Disliked: Coffee for guests would be a nice addition, luckily Billa is very close and you can buy.

  Good apartment overall, though check-in and cleaning need work

  Liked: The location is very good—close to the motorway and the metro station. There is on-street parking in front of the building as well as several garages nearby. A Billa supermarket is located just across the building, along with a few restaurants. The apartment has two bedrooms, which are nicely furnished, and the beds are reasonably comfortable.

  Disliked: The self check-in process was a disaster. We received the necessary information on time, but either the code to enter the building was incorrect or the instructions on how to use it were unclear. After several unsuccessful attempts, another resident happened to pass by and let us in. Once inside, we found the keys for the apartment and the building at the door, and after that we had no further problems. The kitchen is very spacious, but the cupboards are mostly empty. There are basic pots, plates, utensils, and a coffee machine, but no frying pan, which made it difficult to prepare something as simple as scrambled eggs for breakfast. The seating area in the kitchen is very cramped, and it was a challenge to fit four people. We had two small children and managed, but it would be better if the kitchen were slightly smaller and included a proper dining table. We also found a wrapper with melted chocolate under the bed, which suggests the apartment wasn’t cleaned thoroughly, although everything else appeared clean.

  Great location

  Liked: Great location for accessing Vienna, the subway is only a 5 minute walk away. Apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again if visiting Vienna.

  Disliked: The code given for entering the main door did not work, we tried numerous variations of it, including the key symbol either/both ends etc etc. We were able to contact the host but eventually got let in by a resident who happened to be entering.

  Nice flat, but late check in, and communication could be better

  Liked: A beautiful modern building, Billa right outside, not far from the metro station. The beds were nice and comfortable, a wardrobe with hangers and enough space to unpack. Big fridge with a freezer, so we could stock up on snacks.

  Disliked: The check in really stressed me out, because the hosts only provided instructions 3 hours before we arrived (other hosts in the past have contacted me 48 hours in advance). This gave some scammers an opportunity to contact me a day before arrival and pretend like I needed to fill out some extra forms in order to check in. Thankfully we clocked it as a scam, but it caused me a lot of stress. The fact that the hosts also use WhatsApp, not jut Booking.com as a way to contact is not helpful either, cause it made it harder to figure out what's real, and what's a scam. Also, when I initially booked, they approved my request to check in one hour early, but on the day told me that it's not possible, and we had to wait till 4 pm, which is quite late as check ins go. Lastly, while we liked the flat itself, the bathroom would really benefit from a shelving unit, as there's no place to leave your washbag, etc.

  Great place to stay!

  Liked: Spacious, very clean, balcony was a lovely touch, the rooftop pool was such a nice added extra, the Italian was lovely underneath the apartments and also the shop (Billa) was very convenient.
