  Liked: Only 5 minute walk from public transport and shops and cafes right outside.

  Excellent stay, excellent staff, excellent trip

  Liked: The first things I noticed were the lighting and the high ceilings. It looked beautiful, and the furniture was arranged in a cozy way. The room felt bigger than it looked in the photos, so it exceeded my expectations. One small suggestion: the photos for different rooms are identical, so it would be good to update them. It did not hurt my experience, quite the opposite. The bed was very soft, and we were given two separate blankets, which shows real attention to customer experience. The staff was polite and friendly, especially Ibrahim, who brought us everything we needed and gave us excellent service. What I liked most were the radiators. You can adjust them as you like, and when it got cold at night, turning one on made the room really comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very clean, and the shower cabin was positioned so that nobody can see you inside (bathroom has no door to lock [except the toilet], so this might be a little problem if you travel with someone you don't want to surprise). Breakfast (€24.50 per person, as of end of Oct) was very tasty and filling. By the third day we got a bit tired of it since the food was mostly similar, but that is a matter of taste. The location is great. Rathaus is close by, and there is a tram stop right next to the hotel, so it is very convenient to head out to landmarks like the Hofburg, the Opera or the Albertina straight from the hotel. About 200 to 300 meters away there is a good café and bakery, Öfferl. It opens at 7 a.m., so it is a great spot for fresh pastries and coffee in the morning. The hotel looks very chic, calm and quiet. For this price, I would definitely recommend staying here. P.S. They left a cute handwritten (!) letter on the table with a small compliment to congratulate our wedding trip, so this was truly cherry on top. Me and my wife are very grateful for this, big kudos to the staff of the hotel!:)

  Disliked: The room had no telephone and tea kettle, but it wasn't a big deal because we only tried to call the reception once, and after the request the staff brought the tea kettle with various teas and coffee in, so this really wasn't an issue at all.

  Disliked: They provided us a single room while we paid a double. They recognised it only one day after and when we asked for compensation, the ‘manager was not there’. Unresponsive staff. Horrible experience.
