  Lots of small and big problems. Won't be staying at this location next year

  Liked: The location of this property was good. Close to Kagran subway and Westdonau center. Nice neighborhood, too.

  Disliked: Had to contact booking.com to finally get a second key: both spouses had to work different schedules and having one key was unacceptable. The AC didn't work properly, and the issue was never addressed. The kid had to sleep on an improvised bed made of carton boxes in the loft area. The ladder that led to the loft from the middle of the living room is a safety hazard. This cannot be allowed and needs to be inspected. One day someone will fall off this ladder and go to the hospital. We paid 4000 dollars for this property for less than a month, and it was absolutely not worth the money. The communication with the property manager was also slow and at times weird: like, "it's not yet hot enough to turn on the AC" or "record a video of how the AC makes strange noises in the middle of the night and then we'll maybe send someone to look at it" and things like that. It was often +25 C / 77 F inside the apartment, and it's unacceptable by any standards, North American or European.

  More than pleased

  Liked: Everything is just like in the picture, very spacious and comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom is the one of the best ones we have ever slept on. Although the apartment is right on the street where is traffic, it's so quiet inside, thanks to quality windows. The Donau zentrum is 10 minutes walk distance, and the connection with any other transportation to the center or anywhere else is just great. The river Donau is also near by so you can go for a walk, bike riding or rollerblading. The apartment is equipped with almost everything you need for a longer stay as well. The communication was easy and we felt really welcome. Having a parking place is taking this stay on a completely another level. We hope on our next visit this apartment will be vacant because we will definitely come back.

  Money wasted. Not recommended for someone looking for a decent accommodation

  Liked: It appeared to be newish.

  Disliked: So many things. They didn’t mention that the property was an apartment in a building. Had we known that we wouldn’t have booked. We paid £845 for five nights, in that much we could have stayed at Hilton. Alas, facilities were no match for Hilton. We feel we wasted our hard earned money. Roof top and sitting area is a sham, cracked dirty floor with weather beaten chairs. Kitchen had chipped crockery, dirty glassware and cheap cutlery. There was an open wall socket with a wire hanging out of it. We were constantly worried for our toddler should she come near it. I’m attaching photos for reference. We were told owner was on holidays and only he knew how to operate the electric blinds! And he can’t be approached! That’s the level of service.
