  OWNERS NEED TO COMPARE THIS with similar priced properties

  Liked: The location was very good. As a result we had some interesting experiences, such as the car which crashed and rolled closing town access for many hours,! It was a nightmare for those who wished to be on the other side of the crash, as they had to make a many kilometre detour around the crash site. This being the only road into Dinant. One of the beauties or problems of a town built onto the edge of a rock wall beside a river. Beds were comfortable. Quirky furnishings in the living area. View of the river from the living area. Good location to pop into france. People watching. Walks along the river. We didn't mind being on the main road into Dinant.

  Disliked: NO AIRCONDITIONING NO LAUNDRY FACILITIES It was soooo hot during our first week. The front glass door let in a lot of heat and the afternoon/evening sun burned into the windows. Including onto the poor fridge which struggled. Yes it was incredibly hot, and not normal weather for Dinant, but it is what the new normal is going to be. The kitchen facilities were basic. There was no broom, brush and shovel, floor mop ie. barely anything to clean with. We booked four bedrooms. Luckily we only needed two as we needed more towels than were provided. Also the top floor bedrooms were too hot to use. The fan provided was not sufficient and the had balustrade to the top was rickety and loose. There is no toilet on the top floor, so if you usually go to the toilet in the night you have to descend the staircase which feels unsafe in the middle of the day. Information on the planned closure of the main road, on the day we arrived would have been useful.

  Wonderful stay! Comfortable beds and beautiful views

  Liked: The location of the home is wonderful, beautiful views of the Meuse and gorgeous sunsets! The beds were so comfortable and the bathtub was so relaxing. The decor was very homey and gave off a warm and welcoming vibe. Also very close to multiple hiking trails! We loved the home!

  Disliked: The only thing that could be better is if there was a washer and dryer, but there’s always a place downtown to do laundry if needed.

  Liked: Extremely beautifully decorated house with French flair

  Disliked: Busy street, noisy no aircon very hot Backyard terrace could have been more neat and require more comfortable outdoor furniture Walk to town is 2.5 km

  very suitable

  Liked: Clean, quiet and well equipped. comfortable. Suitable for a family or 2 families or 3-4 couples. 4 bedrooms, a dining room combined with a kitchen, and a large living room.

  Disliked: Provide some shampoo and body wash
