Fabulous
Smelly suite, money down the drain!
Disliked: We are a family of four that paid quite a lot of money for one night in one of their suites. When we opened the door to the room we were met by a pungent smell, even our small children reacted. It was infested in the room, probably old furniture or floor carpet/walls. Incredibly disappointing and a very bad experience. We would have left the hotel immediately if it wasn’t for our young children that couldn’t manage another long drive. The hotel didn’t have any personell in place or number to call so we sent an email and were met with a reply the next morning saying that the hotel was full and nothing could be done. We left really early the next morning, didn’t even stay for the breakfast that we had booked. It was unbearable and we will never set our foot there again.
Perfect place to stay in Durbuy!
Liked: Great quiet location just out of Durbuy town centre. Very cosy small hotel in a beautiful old building with friendly staff and a good breakfast. The honesty bar and lounge area is a real plus.
Disliked: Breakfast starts at 08:30, which can be a little late for some people.
A very charming hotel for a pleasant stay in Durbuy
Liked: Beautiful place which has that charming of the traditional hotels. Located by the river it gives a nice view from the park in front of it. The room was clean, well prepared and has a windows with a nice view and beautiful lighting.
Disliked: What I really miss from is to have a local hotel staff most of the day. It would be nice to talk to them and get some tips and other information about the city and its surroundings.
Liked: Central location to walk into the town. Friendly staff member who assisted with check-in. Parking was convenient. Good breakfast selection.
Disliked: The room was a little small with luggage.
Liked: View of the castle, stones throw from the old city, and convenient to all other sites in the region.
Liked: Beautiful and peaceful hotel near the town centre. Very comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Allocated on site parking. Private garden by the river. Spacious lounge with very well stocked honesty bar.
