Liked: Very clean and supe good value and central location. Excellent breakfast...plentiful and great quality products. Loved the home made jams! Staff attentive and constantly topping up breakfast goodies.

Disliked: The street out the front of the hotel is cobblestones, so could constantly hear cars rattling by. Would be good if the rooms had air conditioning.
Liked: - cozy room with a bathroom - very cantral place + parking included - very relaxed atmosphere, tranquility in the village and in the hotel - there was a ventilator in the room, that helped - wonderful, even unbelievable atmosphere in the village. Our overall experience was amazing and we would love to come back. It was also great to live on a quiet and wider street, and still 1- 2 min walk from the 'center', this shaped our experience a lot. We are happy we had 2 and not 1 night in Durbuy, and had enough time to absorb its tranquility, greenness and charm, and in the same time - bustling restaurants life.
Disliked: - just something to pay attention to, in case you are sensitive to heat: like a lot of other hotels in Belgium, this hotel has no airco. This was clearly mentioned on the website, so we knew that it was a risk temperature-wise in the summer. It was 29-30 degrees, and the wind was not really coming inside even with windows open... The village is tiny, the streets as well, but few cars would be passing by and making noise in the night, as well as Saturday night music. This might wake up some people given the windows stay open (if closed, the isolation is actually great by the way, you hear nothing). So yeah, the heat was something to embrace for us:) Great that at least the ventilator was there. I believe however that these temperatures are rather an exception, esp since around 5 in the morning it was 11-14 degrees somehow.
