  Grand hotel in the nicest part of Makarska

  Liked: Location is nice, staff (especially at the reception) is very polite and professional. Food is what you would expect from such hotel. The hotel is very kids friendly (kids driving in the lobby with bikes, playgrounds, multiple pool tables, game rooms etc.), and it is not just "for show" but almost everything works, so the kids will appreciate. Parking was free, near and convenient.

  Disliked: Not much to dislike, but we could mention a couple of things. The inside pool is a bit cold (off season). The 4+1 (family rooms) are connected with double doors which always get in the way (unless they are closed), especially when the children are going back and forth. The restaurant could be organized a bit better (too many small isolated parts where you have to wait in line most of the time just to pick a thing or two).

  It was fabulous

  Liked: It was very laid back, child and family friendly.

  Disliked: The one thing we struggled with was hotel food at the breakfast and evening buffet. The food was often not hot enough for us. But it was tasty and had plenty to offer. As we stayed for 10 or 11 days it would have been nice to have had a bed cover change halfway though and maybe mopping or sweeping our room floor.

  Liked: Everything was great, thank you:D the best part is that even when you check out, you still have the parking paid, you can use the pools, you have showers and changing rooms next to the pools. That is amazing!

  Rooms are too small

  Liked: Breakfast is a good value for the money. Beach is right there. Perfect spot as it is across from the hotel.

  Disliked: Rooms are way too small for anybody except 2 people. Rooms are advertised as comfortable for 3 or 4 persons. Hotel doesn't have it own sunbeds at the beach and if guest wants to swim, you need to wake up at 6am, stay in line, get you sunbed, put towel down and than go back to sleep or stay at the beach from 6am. Totally unacceptable.
