Exceptional
It was a great experience
Liked: Awesome
Disliked: Great service, excellent behavior, magnificent view from the balcony.
Liked: Spacious room with roller shutters on the windows for complete blackout at night. There are two AC units, one for each room. The kitchenette is also very nice and well equipped. Big balcony.
Disliked: The kitchen could use a knife sharpener. The bathroom could use a few minor maintenance repairs.
Liked: The accommodation is near the beach; just cross the road. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and A/C in the bedroom and living room. The personnel were available and quick in resolving demands. The breakfast was also quite good, offering a number of sweet, savoury, fruit and vegi options. Kids loved the pool, which is large enough for guests to have a little swim but mainly play and have fun.
Disliked: The sofa in the living room which also served as the bed for 2 people was very soft, not keeping a flat and straight position so after 2 nights we were suffering a bit. The kitchenware was okay but basic - better equipped would make the difference.
Punches above its weight for what it is
Liked: The breakfast offerings and settings were 5 star and amazing for this level of resort. The cleanliness of the dining area and facilities was exceptionally good. The parking with a remote control for a boom gate was an absolute winner. The reception staff girl was amazing.
Disliked: A lift for the luggage and we didn't need three girls standing and watching us have breakfast every day.
Nice short stay
Liked: The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Everything we asked for, the staff went over and above to help. The room was nice inside, spacious and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The resort was close to the beach and the sea.
Disliked: There were a few very noisy families, with children who completely took over the pool area. The room didn't have any basic kitchen items, such as washing up liquid, towel, oils. I think it was expensive for the apartment.
Liked: The location was good as it was right across the road from a beach, however as we were there before the season had started, we were disappointed that there were not places nearby where we could eat. We struggled to buy fresh food at the grocery store. So, we had to go to Trogir Old Town for all our meals. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but a toaster, broom, teaspoons and various other items such as dishwashing soap would have been appreciated. Also, there was no manual to use the stove. The reception lady kindly came to try and assist in getting it to work. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A bus stop was right in front of the apartment block, but the running times were infrequent.
Disliked: The breakfasts were not of a good standard as the food was prepared hours before we ate. Breakfast was served from about 7.30am but when we arrived each day after 8.30 or 9am the eggs were hard. It would have been better if we could have ordered eggs on arrival. Unfortunately, the pool was too cold to swim when we were there.
