Liked: A really exceptional apartment, very spacious with a huge TV and sofa. Many extras provided. Lovely garden in a very quiet cul-de-sac. Near a large supermarket. Host was extremely helpful.

Disliked: Windows could do with mosquito nets.

Liked: On arrival we were offered some fritule which was so delicious. We were also offered a very popular Croatian liqueor which we could enjoy! Its the small things that make your trip so much better. Loved every bit of the stay. The guys were so friendly and even invited us for easter dinner inside with them. Would definitely come back!

Amazing hosts and generous sized apartment

Liked: Met by the amazing Nina who kindly gave us orange juice and milk and helped carry our bags to the apartment. No fault of hers, but all the local roads had been dug up with a great big digger in the driveway. Zadar roads appear to be in a right mess at present. Apartment was beautiful. It was wonderful to be able to do some washing and watch some television.

Disliked: One small bugbear was the funky smell every time we had a shower. The toilet had a pump system which was used to fill the cistern - don't know if it accounted for the smell, but we didn't drink any water out the tap. It was definitely not a twenty-minute walk to the 'old town' of Zadar (and we are brisk walkers) - it took a conservative thirty-five minutes at best and we were not using the car again considering what was going on with the roads. The address listed on Bookings.com was not correct, but the hosts were proactive in informing us that this was the case.
