Handy, great price, get your money worth
Liked: Everything was brilliant - and perfect - as clean, spare towels, Ratko gave us clear lay out of Zadar and what we would be interested in doing and was really helpful in showing and telling us the best spots and asked what we liked to do and showed us - there is a little map of Zadar in the room. Your given 3 keys and told which is for which and very handy and secure for the property, very spacious and an amazing stay!
Disliked: Only issues was the TV would sometimes volume would cut out but I only watched it one night but everything was perfect and couldn’t recommend it more to anyone!
Rent both rooms for your family/group!!! Excellent stay!!!!!
Liked: This was a perfect place to stay! Booking both rooms for a family or a group is perfect(if you only book one room you have a shared kitchen space though your own bathroom, if you book both rooms, you have the whole apartment to yourself)!!! We had trouble finding a place with enough space in the old city and we are SO glad we found Gero's for our family of five!!! The apartment is a five min walk from the walls of the old city and tucked away between buildings so it's quiet, safe, and you have your own little locked yard. Kids can go in and out without worrying. So for a family who is traveling it's great to feel like you have your own little home. The apartment was really clean, has excellent wifi, is very new, beautiful bathrooms and great air conditioning. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen supplies. And there are markets 5 min away(Konzum and a wonderful farmer's market right in front where you will find an english speaking young man who will tell you exactly which fruits are sweetest at that moment! If he's not there than it's his mom). We loved visiting Zadar and staying here! Here are some things to help clarify questions we had, hopefully you can find this helpful. There is no driving into old town during the summer. There is paid parking right outside the wall, but just one block down are free lots. We parked at Ravnice parking besplatno. The walk is only about ten minutes and mostly flat. Only one part was bumpy cobble stone. The bookings directions won't take you to the entrance. You should put in(see photo): stone garden restaurant Rivnica ul. 3, 23000, Zadar, Croatia And the entrance is across from this restaurant, which is sort of on this alley street. Included is a photo of the washing machine. Americans don't have this type of machine. Be sure to close the inner doors before shutting the lid. It washes well and you can air dry everything outside your door.
