  Feeling a bit disappointed but in good location

  Liked: Location. Building with history.

  Disliked: The apartment fell well short of expectations, especially considering the price. The biggest issue was the complete lack of soundproofing, the walls are paper-thin, so we could clearly hear people talking, walking, and moving in the adjacent apartment at all hours. Cleanliness and amenities were equally disappointing: - bathroom: The shower drain was visibly dirty and emitted a foul smell. Due to poor or non-existent ventilation, we had to shower with the door open. Basic toiletries were missing entirely (no hand soap or shower gel), and we were only provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for a 5-day stay. Sink spills water; - The kitchen was dusty, including the glassware and utensils, which had to be washed before use. It was no equipment described in offer. There was no iron available until we specifically asked the host for one. The Wi-Fi details provided in the apartment were outdated, forcing us to contact the host just to get online. We were provided with only 4 capsules of coffee and no tea. - The air conditioning unit was heavily clogged with dust, which made it inefficient and unhygienic. - None of the photos showed our apartment. When you pay that much, you expect the things to be as described. I mean it was generally not bad, but largely inconsistent with the offer.

  Liked: Proximity to everything important - beach, downtown, restaurants etc.

  Disliked: There was no tea, sugar, salt or anything like that apart from 2 espresso pods. However we were staying for only one night so maybe that is the reason.

  Liked: The apartment was great overall – excellent location, very comfortable bed, and everything was clean and pleasant. The only small downsides were that it was a little noisy as we could hear the neighbours, and the kitchen was missing a wine opener and kitchen towels/paper towels. Other than that, we had a very nice stay!
