Very enjoyable stay - I’d be happy to stay there again
Liked: Great location - walking distance to the sights of Avignon & also to the station for excursions. Nice & peaceful. Great breakfast buffet & welcoming staff.
Elegant city stay
Liked: Near the train station and on the main street to walk to sights and food.
Disliked: A little bit pricey for a longer stay but acceptable for the short time.
Maybe I got the worst room in the hotel, but this is absolutely not a 4 star hotel and does not warrant an 8.4 rating
Liked: The location was very convenient - near train, tourist information and restaurants. Bed was comfy. The remodeled bath was nice. The room was a good size. Reception was (mostly) friendly and helpful.
Disliked: There was a lift but were many stairs to be negotiated to get into the hotel, to get to the lift and even to reach some of the rooms on each floor. There was only 1 electrical outlet in the entire room in an inconvenient location. The towels were old and thin. Dark, dark dark room. Appointment needed for included breakfast. Hot breakfast items were ice cold and on last day not even cooked (see photo). Water and coffee not replenished during 3 day visit. Bar advertised as open daily, was not.
A pleasant hotel in a convenient location, ideal for a stopover
Liked: Great location a short walk from the station and on the edge of the city centre.
Disliked: Original room was noisy as close to lift and stairs. We changed to a room on a high floor which was much better.
Comfortable hotel in a great location with some wonderful staff!
Liked: The location was great, so convenient to the local train and buses. The area was so walkable with wonderful restaurants, shops and bars. The breakfast overseen by Marius and his staff who were all wonderful. Walid at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and spoke perfect English. Mona was helpful when we wanted to stay in one night and eat and drink our carry in the very comfortable sitting room.
Liked: I've stayed in this hotel several times and it's always better than you expect it's going to be! Very good.
