Fabulous
Prime location! No reason to stay in the center of Avignon when you are a 10 minute uber ride away
Liked: The location was perfect! We needed to be at the train station very early th next day and the 10 minute walk made it so easy and stress free. The pool was an added bonous on a 90 degree september day.
Convenient for TGV, clean rooms but not worth the money paid
Liked: Convenient for TGV and city.
Disliked: Odd layout of room with open plan bathroom and sleeping area. Has rainfall shower but this did not work properly due to poor water pressure.
Liked: Modern room,you can dine if you don't want to go out.
Disliked: Not close to the old city
Liked: The front of house reception staff who were very professional and were very attentive and supportive of my needs.
Comfortable convenient hotel, but breakfast wasn't well organized
Liked: Very nice welcome. Room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my dinner.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't well managed. I arrived about 8:15 am and there were many people there from a tour bus, I think. The tables weren't set, food wasn't replenished. I could not easily find a coffee cup. I also found the yoghurt service very strange... from a machine. Only small amounts came out. (And there weren't any bowls near the yoghurt.) I think you should have yoghurt in individual containers. So breakfast was disappointing...
Wonderful staff, horrible room
Liked: The bed was very comfortable. The staff were winderful, friendly, helpful. The dining facilities were very pleasant.
Disliked: I really didn't like the bedroom. It was very odd. It felt like a student studio bedsit. The layout was strange, the bathroom area was curtained off from the main room, and there was a separate toilet (with a door). As you walk into the room you are confronted by a long, thin desk, with the kettle and phone on it, underneath is the fridge and safe. Then right next to the desk, the other side, was the big bed. If two people were in the room, one would be obliged to climb over the bed to get in or out. It felt very much like a room you might expect in a 2-star or 1-star lodging and not a 3 or 4 star hotel. Then the light switches were all over the place with no indication which switch was for what light. And even more annoying, the TV didn't seem to have any film/international options in English. There was no armchair (there was really no room because of the layout), only an unwelcoming stool. Not a relaxing environment at all. I was very, very disappointed.
