  A Lovely Stay in Evian

  Liked: Everything was great. The welcome, the room, the bed! Nothing bad to say! We had a lovely dinner at the hotel and breakfast was delicious.

  Good hotel, lovely staff. wouldn't stay again tho

  Liked: Breakfast was good. Staff were excellent. Gardens were lovely as was pool. Room was lovely even on top floor. Great to have free minibus from town centre. Much appreciated thank you.

  Disliked: They were fully booked for dinner and there was no where nearby without driving. There was no light snacks available and they had just finished lunch. we arrived about 2.30 after travelling. And were unable to eat anything there that day. Would have been nice to have received an email saying they were getting booked up in dining room and did we want a reservation. Location a bit out of the way.

  Relaxed comfortable hotel near the old town of Evian

  Liked: Relaxed comfortable hotel close to the old town of Evian via funicular railway. Beautiful lake view from our balcony and pretty grounds with immaculate vegetable garden and several peaceful areas to sit under the trees in deckchairs. Nice swimming pool area with sun loungers. Good breakfast and excellent evening menu - particularly delicious desserts. All staff were extremely welcoming to our dog and offered him water several times at the restaurant and bar.

  Disliked: There were so many wasps in the courtyard that we could not enjoy breakfast outside!

  Stunning property with wonderful staff!!

  Liked: What a charming property!! We loved our tour night stay and enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The shuttle service was a bonus. Evian is amazing and we highly recommend La Verniaz!

Good to know

The Bar and its terrace welcome you during the opening hours of the restaurant and the hotel. The Bar is closed during the annual closing of the Hotel.
