  A pleasure staying here

  Generally very good

  Liked: Friendliness of staff with interesting conversation. Style and design of bathroom lovely Style and design of main room lovely too

  Disliked: The walls are a bit thin though this may be hard to change. One person next door had a phone conversation late at night and the other neighbour (of one night thankfully) had an unfortunate loud snore!

  Great Hotel, Enjoyable stay

  Liked: The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was clean, tea coffee making facilities were available in the room. hanging space for clothes, bedside lights were working, there were also spot lights attached to the bedside lights if you wanted to use less light in the room. Breakfast was excellent, there was cooked breakfast and continental breakfast with a choice of 3 cereals, cheese, ham slices, toast etc. There is a coffee machine which gives hot water, hot milk and an assortment of coffee's The dining area was clean, tables set with cutlery and serviettes, there is also a lift to the other floors from the ground floor. Staff were very polite and helpful. Close to all the shopping, you actually step out into the street with all the shops and a few minutes from the train station, couldn't fault it really.

  Disliked: The only thing my friend and I found unpleasant was a very strange smell in the bathroom, a bit like a sewage smell it was there when we arrived but disappeared for a while but there again when we got back to the room in the late afternoon. It didn't stop us enjoying ourselves, we just closed the bathroom door. But maybe someone should check that out.
