  A one night stay - comfortable with good facilities in the centre of Lille

  Liked: Central - near train stations and the old town

  Disliked: Rooms rather small - but what you would expect from a central location and reasonable cost.

  Great location, efficient staff

  Liked: Great location, very efficient, smooth check in. I had a probkem with my credit card online, but once I contacted the hotel, they were so helpful keeping the booking open until I was able to pay.

  Disliked: Nothing really. The rooms aren't huge, but we really only used it as a base, not expecting to spend a lot of time inside.

  Liked: The position very close to the metro, buses and the regional train hub. Close to a selection of restaurants and retail outlets. The view from my window was delightfully French

  Decent value hotel - shame about street noise

  Liked: Great location close to both railway stations and metro. Very central, with many bars and restaurants immediately close by (one actually under the hotel!) Decent room - not overly big, but adequate for a couple of nights. Clean and tidy, with efficient, helpful reception staff. Decent breakfast but not very much choice.

  Disliked: Avoid bedrooms on the first floor. The hotel entrance is set next to a bar/brasserie, with all the bedrooms set above this. It can be noisy with large groups of drinkers ('happy hour'!) and music. Plenty of street noise too, until late. If I'd realised when I arrived I would have asked for a room on a much higher floor.
