Good choice stopover if travelling by train

Liked: Amazing location opposite Lille Flandres station and 5 mins walk from Lille Europe for Eurostar. Staff so helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast room also available in the evening for get togethers if travelling with others. Bar prices reasonable. Lift to higher floors. Coffee machine and air con. Everything we look for in a city hotel,

Adequate as we were only staying overnight between train journeys between Strasbourg and UK

Liked: Location is great. Good access to the main Lille railway station and Lille Europe station. Breakfast was good.

Disliked: On arrival we found the room small for its description. The toilet cistern was running constantly so my wife went to reception to report this. The staff member came up to the room and informed us the only alternative room was smaller in size (didn't really see how that could be possible!). She then said that the toilet fill valve needed to be manually isolated once the toilet had been flushed and the cistern refilled otherwise the water would continue to run. She demonstrated that to do this involved removal of the flush plate and putting a hand into the void behind and manually turning a valve off. NOT what I expected to be doing however it needed to be done to stop the constant sound of running water. NO compensation was offered.

Incredibly convenient location…quiet and comfy right in the middle of everything!

Liked: The Duplex room is more than worth the price! Beautiful room with private access to/from the street right in the heart of the city!

Liked: A nice enough hotel in an old building opposite Lille Flandres station. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfy and the shower works well.

Disliked: The location is great but it's not easy to find the entrance amongst all the bars and restaurants. And beware if you get a room on the first floor, there are more stairs beyond where the lift opens.

Liked: Good location. Room and bathroom was mordern and clean

Disliked: When I asked to make up my room they only cleaned the bed. The floor and bathroom remained dirty and they didn’t replace the towels. This happened on 2 days and I told reception who were helpful, but it shouldn’t have happened
