Good affordable choice if you need to catch an early train

Liked: Affordable hotel, clean and secure, very handy for the main railway station and with plenty of restaurants nearby.

    Pleasant!

Liked: The location of the hotel is its best features. It is just across the Gare de Flandres and a walking distance from the international gare. Close proximity to cafés, eateries, grocery stores and a shopping complex. What the hotel lacked in terms of meals, the location makes up for it.

Disliked: The staircase was really narrow and dark but the room was clean, airy with a good view of the esplanade.

    Terrible

Liked: I cannot believe Booking.com advertise this hotel as family friendly. Far from it! The hotel isn't fit for purpose and shouldn't be trading.

Disliked: Unsafe staircase No lighting in communal areas No air conditioning Wires exposed in all light fittings in room Holes in curtains Toilet running/filling up all night making loud noises
