A pleasant stay in Lille if a little uncomfortable

Liked: The room was tidy and spacious but with stains on the carpet, cracks in the wall and pixtures hanging from the ceiling, clearly some maintenance is required.

Disliked: The stains on the carpet and how firm the mattress was.

Basic, Comfortable nights stay. Good value for money with friendly staff

Liked: It’s a very basic, comfortable nights stay. Perfect for what we needed

Disliked: The location is ok, but not the nicest walk along the tracks into the main part of town.

Warm, helpful staff made up for a hotel mid-refurb, and it should be even better once the work is do

Liked: The staff were lovely, friendly and genuinely helpful, always happy to assist with a smile. They made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Disliked: The hotel is looking a little tired in places and is clearly due a refurbishment. To be fair, work was already under way, so it should be much improved once finished.

Stay at Kyriad Lille Gare - Grand Palais

Liked: After a day of traveling, we had an easy check-in. The room was comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast in the morning was lovely.

Disliked: The hotel location was a bit away from the city centre, but it was quiet. The bathroom was very small and cramped to move about in.
