  Disliked: I wasn't given the room I chose on Booking.com. The staff showed me several rooms, but they were different. The staff said the room I chose didn't exist. It was a scam.

  Don’t book here

  Liked: I did not get the luxury of staying in this property as they moved me at short notice to another hotel despite having booked and paid months in advance (3 days before arrival). The hotel I was moved to had significantly less facilities, was no longer located in a short walking distance from the conference I was attending. More importantly it split my travelling party which impacted our reservations and travel plans. Despite multiple emails stating they would refund the difference of the hotel - this never occurred. A very disappointing experience.

  Disliked: Very basic rooms, more like a 3 star / Ibis hotel than a 5 star. Expensive for what it is. Breakfast is not good.

  Pleasant, quiet hotel in a lovely historic building, but not operating at 5* level

  Liked: Bed linen was great quality, as were the shampoo, body wash and hair conditioner provided. The building is gorgeous and beautifully developed. The location was good too: fairly central but quiet. Reception staff were very professional.

  Disliked: From the photos on the booking.com website, I was expecting a minibar. On arrival, there was nothing, apart from basic coffee and tea facilities, with two teeny 10ml containers of milk. Even that was not replenished by room service on day 2. The fridge was bare. On further investigation, it was apparent that you could ask for the minibar to be stocked, but items would, of course, be chargeable. The hospitality offer was basic and certainly not as generous or imaginative as the photos on the booking.com website would indicate. Overall, the five stars are not merited in my view.

The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, between 12:30 to 14:00 and from 19:30 to 22:00. It is closed for lunch on Saturday, and all day on Sunday and Monday.

Please note that access to the spa is restricted for children. They can access the spa from 08:30 until 10:30 and from 18:00 until 19:00.

The L'Estaminet brasserie is open daily from 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 21:30. The bar is open every day from 08:00 to 00:00. Please note that the rate of the baby cot includes : - the cot, a changing mat, a bottle warmer. For any additional information, please contact the property.
